Hello Science Fans!
How can science and technology help provide cheap and sustainable electricity for all?
In this video, we talk about the current status of energy in the world and in The Philippines. We look at the connection between energy and the Covid-19 pandemic. We also look at the different indicators that the United Nations (UN) has created to help achieve Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7): Affordable and Clean Energy. We confront the different challenges we face as we struggle to create better and more efficient energy sources! And, of course, we look at how nuclear power fits in providing clean and cheap electricity to The Philippines.
So, if you want to learn more about how energy is generated in The Philippines — I hope you can check out this video!
